1.Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum

When here, you should watch the taramandal show and science demonstration show. Along with this, the museum hosts various lectures and seminars to spread awareness on scientific aspects. Wright Brothers’ airplane is a major attraction here. The museum is home to a dinosaur enclave, space technology gallery and aerospace artefacts. 3.Venkatappa Art Gallery, Bangalore 

Located on the premises of Bangalore’s Government Museum, Venkatappa Art Gallery is known for its remarkable collection of artworks by Karnataka’s renowned artist, K. Venkatappa. There are two floors dedicated to the artworks, exhibiting more than 600 paintings. The art of various other famous artists in the past including KK Hebbar are also showcased here. Timings : All days from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM, excluding Monday.



4.National Gallery Of Modern Art 

Sprawled across an area of about 3.5 acres, the National Gallery of Modern Art, Bangalore is an exquisite treasure trove of artworks. The gallery opened only in 2009 and has been a hit among tourists as well as locals ever since. The most known of the artists whose artworks are featured here include Rabindranath Tagore, Raja Ravi Verma, and Amrita Shergill. The painting exhibit in this gallery features collections from the 18th century and the centuries ahead of it. Timing :  Saturday & Sundays : 11:00AM to 07:30PM Tuesday to Friday : 11:00 AM to 06:00 PM. Closed on Monday and National Holidays.

Green Onion is a small eatery, located on Residency Road that serves delectable Indo-Chinese food. All items are reasonably priced, and the portion sizes are large, making one feel like their money is well spent! The price for two people averages around 850 rupees, but one can manage a good meal for around 400 rupees, including an appetiser and a rice or noodle based main course dish.

  1.  Siddiq Kabab Centre

A timeless place for those who love non-vegetarian and meaty food! This place has managed to stay consistent in the flavour and quality of the rolls it serves. One regular roll is priced at 50 rupees, and larger rolls are priced at 90 rupees, 140 rupees, and 160 rupees, respectively.

A tip would be to visit in the evenings, after 6 p.m., to enjoy some freshly made beef seekh rolls.

  1. Moti's Kitchen

This eatery in Thippasandra serves authentic, homely Kerala-style food. They serve popular items like parotta, kappa, and a variety of seafood dishes. The portion sizes are large, and the dishes are priced at lower rates. An entire meal for one person could average around 200 to 400 rupees!

A tip would be to try the authentic Kerala biryani, chai, and pazham pori.
